Mind the Gap

To cultivate change we have to pay attention to the space of where we’re actually standing with our business to where we want to be. We have to practice the values in which we are holding out as important.

Minding the gap requires a sense of where you are this present moment. Looking at how you are showing up from day to day. Getting clear with what you’ve been doing and what you’ve been avoiding. Getting real as to what’s been happening - what’s been going on in your business and what’s been going on for you.

Observe all the positives, because there are good behaviours plus the not so good - but observe, don’t self- criticise. You don’t have to be perfect, just engaged and committed to aligning your values with your actions.

Working with business owners I look less at what you want to achieve, but more at who you need to be.   Sometimes we engage in behaviours that are inconsistent with who we want to be, with how we want our businesses to look. Ask the question what is your primary way of being that will best support & serve you. Look at what you do best, along with what you want to change the most.
