Passion Lead You Here
Listen to the younger you, rediscover your passion & ignite your entrepreneur spirit.
Your business is busy. Hectic, and all too often, frantic. it’s so easy to lose your way. To lose your driving passion. You plough ahead, merely turning up at your place of work. You just go through the motions and lose sight of your genuine passions.
It’s a great achievement to be in business for an extended period of time. We know that half of all businesses fail in their first 12 months. But it’s sobering to think how quickly we can begin to operate in a realm of ‘sameness’. Looking at our business in the same way – day after day. Experiencing the same feelings. It’s too hard. Too much work.
The same feelings lead to the same emotions that trigger the same behaviours, that lead to the same conversations and the same outcomes.
When you first opened your business, you felt empowered. You thought anything was possible. But the gap between then and where you are right now, struggling and fatigued, can grow exponentially if left unchecked.
What we focus our attention on grows. If we focus on our business not being good enough, or too hard, and “I’m not good enough”, then we tend to play in a mediocre business. And the ramifications can take an incredible toll on our success and on our life.
Avoid the pitfalls of not being truly fulfilled in your business choice or direction. I’ll show you how to reconnect with your mojo, and lessen that widening gap.
Close the gap
Your full potential can only be released when you are fully fulfilled. From a business point of view, success can look very different for different business owners. It could be working a 4-day week. Achieving a record-breaking turnover. Employing more staff, and so on.
As entrepreneurs, we have an innate connection with creativity. We create something from nothing. We grow an idea, a product or a service. When we’re at the core of our true passion, our true calling, we get creative and see possibilities everywhere.
When we are not aligned with our purpose in business, we shift to living a life of business scarcity. Not enough customers. Not enough revenue. Employees that are not good enough. It’s all too hard. Business becomes a grind. It becomes a hardship rather than a pleasure.
Get present
Get present to why you first started your business. What got you going. And reconnect with your passion. Get present to your ‘old’ wins. How you felt. What you did.
Your YOU brand, Your Offer
Design your own unique YOU brand. You are the great differentiator – not your product, features, price. Create your own unique selling style, your own rock-star personality.
People enjoy doing business with people that make them feel good. To make people feel good, you need to first feel good about yourself. What is your Unique Selling Proposition? What makes you different – and great at what you do?
Over-simplify your offer and your approach to make it easy for people to buy from you. Give them the reasons to buy. Show them what’s in it for them. Then you can establish an emotional connection and convert more sales.
Growth as a habit
Schedule daily habits that will drive revenue into your business. Focus on tasks that are significant to growth. While diligence and savvy may have carried your business so far, to go further requires more – but not more of the same. Repeating the same actions as before will hardly produce a different effect. Generally, they will only get you just as far as you have already come. Business owners eager for growth must find new products, services or strategies for creating expanded results. To achieve real business growth requires action-based entrepreneurial tactics. Start listening to the younger you. Reignite your passion you drive. Take an active role in growing your business into the enterprise it can be.
Align all of the above with your life purpose. Check in with your inner self to see if you are being true to your passions and to your business calling. Then you can design a framework that will support you – and keep you in-check.
